Pc Viv came in to talk to us about keeping safe and good friendships. This was very interesting and we learnt a lot.

Freeze framing
We looked at a photo of some refugees. We made the same pose they were making in the photo. We held this pose. Then we thought about what they might be thinking and what they might say in the same situation.
Preparing for the harvest festival.
We spent time thinking about things to be thankful for at harvest time. We then used different techniques to make a poster to share at the church next week. This was a lot of fun. Good team work Cnoc-y-coed!
Sorting / Didoli
We have been using our sorting skills to sort living and non-living things, as well as different minibeasts. We worked extremely well together and had lots of interesting discussion throughout.
Tocyn Cymraeg
Well done to our Welsh badge winners this week! They have been earning lots of Tocyn Cymraeg for speaking Welsh in class and around the school. Gwaith Gwych!!

We read the instructions and followed the steps to make a paper aeroplane. We enjoyed testing them.
Pentabus; part 2!
This week we thought about home; what is it? We had to consider the 5 senses when thinking about home. We then gave a word to describe home….calm, happy, relaxed, like I can do whatever I want, entertained, sleepy…!
