In Jigsaw today, Reception have been learning about their emotions. We found out what makes us feel happy, sad, angry, excited and scared, and discussed strategies to help us feel different emotions.

Health and Wellbeing-Feeling Proud
In Jigsaw today Year One discussed what makes us happy in our learning. We thought about what it means to feel proud and Mrs Blower gave us a special ticket, with one reason for feeling proud of us. It made us feel happy!
Drones and skyscrapers
We are working on a small project to show other pupils in our cluster how to use drones. The pupils have decided to build models of skyscrapers, they will then put them out on a ‘map of the world’ and go on a ‘tour’ of the skyscrapers around the world, using the drones.
Fire Safety
Dosbarth Aderyn Du had a visit from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service. They learnt about the safety of having working fire alarms, how to prevent fires and what to do if we discover a fire. They were shown the number to ring for free fire alarms and a website which has lots of activities relating to the emergency services.

Chilling on a Friday afternoon after a week of working hard on national tests and developing the skills needed to write an explanation text about skyscrapers.
Owain Glyndŵr
It was Dydd Owain Glyndŵr on 16th September (Medi).
We listened to his story and why he is important to the people of Wales whilst colouring some pictures of him.

Creating Databases on J2Data
Our Mantle this term is all about skyscrapers. We have done lots of research about skyscrapers and different skylines around the world. In our DCF lessons we have been looking at creating databases on J2Data. We used the information that we have researched about the tallest buildings in the world, to create different records.
