As part of our Mantle, we have been looking at deforestation. We decided to paint some trees on stones after looking at how important it was to save our trees!
After deciding we need to increase the biodiversity on the school field, we have decided to make some mini bug hotels to place in our forest school/woodland area whilst we wait for donations to make a bigger bug hotel.
Year 2,3 and 4 enjoyed some outdoor learning as part of our well-being day. They created a ‘crazy golf’ course out of natural resources and had lots of fun playing together! Da iawn pawb!
Churchyards and burial grounds are very important places for Lichens. Many burial grounds have well over 100 species of Lichen in them. In our groups we looked at how many different types we could find and where we found them.
Reception/Year One have been thinking about forgiveness and the need to say sorry. Here, they have drawn pictures to show people damaging our planet, saying sorry, and being forgiven.
